Wellbeing Services

We all need support sometimes, whether it’s through loneliness, prioritising self-care, struggles maintaining positive mental health or overcoming trauma. Aspire is offering women support that can be joined at any time, enabling them to find the connections they need to move forwards.

Confidential Listening Service

If you are anxious, depressed, stressed or just needing to talk about something that is impacting on you, then our free, confidential listening service is here for you.

Face to face and telephone appointments available.

Aspire’s volunteer listeners are fully trained and will never judge you.

    Fifty & Beyond (FAB)

    FAB is a friendly, accessible social group for women 50+ to come together to share chat, information and laughs.

    Don’t worry if you aren’t musically trained, our choir is about fun, friendship and giving it a go together in a relaxed space without judgement.

Specialist Services: Domestic Abuse and Suicide & Self Harm

    Stay Safe, Feel Well (Suicide & Self Harm)

    Stay Safe, Feel Well is a rolling 6-week programme of focused peer-support for any woman affected by suicide or self-harm. Women use creative ways to explore and express their feelings and experiences.

    Support Packs for Women & Families

    By Request and Collection only

    Aspire provides packs of essential hygiene, store cupboard and other household essentials to women and families in need.

    Podiatry

    Aspire’s qualified podiatrists provide preventative care and treatment for problems affecting feet, ankles and legs, encouraging relaxation and improving wellbeing.

    Step Out Sisters

    Join us for our monthly accessible walks with plenty of time for chat. Improve wellbeing with some light exercise - good company and refreshments are provided.

Savvy Sisters

Credit Union and Information

Gain guidance surrounding financial matters or simply just pop in for a coffee and a chat whilst checking on your savings. This service covers areas such as benefit guidance, savvy spending, savings advice and is also an official NE Credit Union where you can pay into your savings account and learn more about financial support available in your local area.
