Aspire Celebrates International Women’s Day

Aspire Learning, Support and Wellbeing hosted an International Women’s Day celebration.

International Women’s Day takes place on the 8th March and is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating women’s equality.

This year’s theme was Inspire Inclusion which emphasised the importance of diversity and empowerment in all aspects of society. The campaign calls for action to break down barriers, challenge stereotypes, and create environments where all women are valued and respected.

By working together to break down barriers and foster diversity, we can build a more equitable and inclusive society for generations to come!

Aspire were also invited to participate in the International Women’s Day march at Beamish Museum.
